Growing up in Grand Junction, Colorado, I learned the value
of hard work early on, earning money for my first car through after-school and
summer construction jobs. Seeking adventure, I joined the USMC after high
school, serving in field communications at an airbase in Yuma, Arizona. It was
there that I met my beautiful wife, Anne Marie, and we married in 2004.
